In 2002, I combined my love for movies and my compulsion to write and began screenwriting. I started out of the gate writing features. I wrote a few, they were bad. Then I read some books, took some workshops. Wrote a couple more. They were a little better. Then I decided to stop writing features and switched to shorts. My writing improved dramatically but the problem was, my ideas weren’t usually short ideas. They were feature ideas. So I went back to features. I’ve had some success so far and will always work on improving. It’s a forever process.

A few years back I relocated from the New Jersey shore to the mountains of Asheville, NC. I’m a mom of 2 wonderful, grown up kids.
